Learned Magistrate awarded monthly maintenance of Rs.600/- per month to the respondent-wife, by an order dated 28/11/2002, pursuant to the provisions of Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, revision against which was dismissed by learned Sessions Judge. This Court ordered payment of maintenance @ Rs.200/- per month while granting interim protection in favour of the present petitioner.

Present writ petition can be conveniently disposed of, with following observations.

84.04crwp -2That the petitioner shall continue to pay Rs.600/- (Rs. Six hundred only) per month towards maintenance as ordered by learned Magistrate, with effect from 01/01/2015, provided that the order of payment of maintenance was not modified under Section 127 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the subordinate Court. 3.
