The grievance raised by petitioner is in respect of his transfer to village Savargaon, Tq. Jamkhed, Dist. Ahmednagar by order dated 23.05.2016. The petitioner has joined the transferred place in the month of August, 2016, itself. Petitioner contends that his wife is serving at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Shirasgaon, Tq. Shrirampur, Dist. Ahmednagar. Petitioner as such makes a request for effecting his transfer and posting at a place near the place of posting of his wife.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be desirable to direct the respondents to consider the request of petitioner for his transfer and posting at a place near the place of posting of his wife considering the policy relating to couple convenience which has also been adopted by the Zilla Parishad. It

{2} wp7835.16.odt would be open for the petitioner to make representation to the Chief Executive Officer, Ahmednagar for redressal of his grievance. If petitioner tenders representation within a period of three weeks from today, the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar, shall consider the request of petitioner and issue necessary order while effecting general transfer in observance of the policy governing the issue of transfer of employees. Writ petition stands disposed of.
