The Petitioners are aggrieved that, few villagers from the village Kanashi and Devhari, Taluka Bhadgaon, Dist. Jalgaon, have created obstacles on a village road by digging up areas in order to block the path of the villagers. A representation has been tendered to the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Bhadgaon.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the Petitioners have an efficacious statutory remedy in the light of the proceedings

6434.24wp (2) under Section 5(2) of the Mamlatdars' Court Act, 1906, and a Revisional Authority under Section 23(2), is also available under the said Act.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off, with liberty to the Petitioners to approach the Competent Authority under the provisions of the Mamlatdars' Court Act. All the contentions of the parties are kept open. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) sjk
