This petition can be disposed of by issuing direction to respondent no. 2 to take decision on the caste certificate verification proposal pertaining to petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from today and it is accordingly directed. Petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies subject to the decision on the caste certification verification proposal pending with the committee. Respondent University is directed to declare result of petitioner for the first year B.Sc. Nursing course and, if found eligible, petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies.
