Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is preparing for appearing in the NEET examination and is exploring the possibility of admission to the professional course. The petitioner seeks direction to the committee to decide the validation proceedings expeditiously.

Learned AGP submits that it is only in March, 2021, the petitioner has filed the proposal for validation of the caste claim. 4.

The petitioner certainly is not diligent. He ought to have filed proposal for validation much earlier.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course, the committee, if it is possible for it may endeavor to decide the proceedings by 30.09.2021. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 12.08.2021. 6.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
