The application for production of caste certificate is rejected by the SDO. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the father of the petitioner is issued with the validity certificate by the Committee of "Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe". Still the application of the petitioner is rejected. The school record of the petitioner records the caste as "Mannervarlu". The sister of the petitioner is also issued with validity certificate under the order of this Court in Writ Petition No.10490 of 2017 dated 3rd October, 2017. The learned AGP accepts notice for respondents and submits that the SDO has considered all documents on record and has rightly decided the application.

919 wp.8745.21.odt We would not have entertained the petitioner even for a moment and would have relegated the petitioner to the appellate remedy, however, as it is submitted that the petitioner is going to appear for NEET examination and is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course, we have entertained the petition. It appears that the Committee has issued validity certificate to the father of the petitioner. The sister of the petitioner is also issued with validity certificate under the order of this Court at Principal Seat in Writ Petition No.10490 of 2017 dated 3rd October, 2017.

At the stage of issuance of caste certificate prima-facie satisfaction is sufficient.

In light of the above, the impugned order is quashed and set aside.

The Respondent No.2 shall issue caste certificate to the petitioner of Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe expeditiously, preferably within three days.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
