The claim of the petitioner of belonging to "Thakur", Scheduled Tribe, is pending adjudication from 25.01.2022. He prays for an early decision. His apprehension is that he is likely to lose his employment as a "Senior Draughtsman" with respondent No.2.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the direction to respondent No.1 to decide the claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31.05.2023, on it's own merits. The petitioner shall render

*2* 159wp10414o22 wholehearted cooperation and shall not seek adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest the Committee would be justified in progressing to the next stage in the matter. 3.

The service of the petitioner shall stand protected and respondent No.2 would not dispense with his service. In the event of there being invalidation of his claim, the adverse order, if any, shall not take effect until 15 days.
