IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD 81 WRIT PETITION NO.7254 OF 2019 AMBADAS SHASHIKANT CHOUDHARI ..PETITIONER

VERSUS

THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ANOTHER ..RESPONDENTS ...

Mr. Nitin R. Bhavar, Advocate for the Petitioner. Mr. S. B. Yawalkar, AGP for Respondents-State. ...

CORAM : S. V. GANGAPURWALA & MANGESH S. PATIL, JJ.

DATED : 9th JULY, 2019.

PER COURT:- 1.

On 18.06.2019, we had directed Mr. Bhavar, learned counsel for the petitioner to place on record the scheme entitling grandson to seek appointment on compassionate ground.

2.

Mr. Bhavar on going through the scheme fairly conceded that grandson is not shown as beneficiary for appointment on compassionate ground, even otherwise, the grandmother died in the year 2003.

3.

The very purpose of appointment on compassionate ground would not survive after such a long slumber.

4.

Considering the above, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

(MANGESH S. PATIL) (S. V. GANGAPURWALA) JUDGE JUDGE Devendra/July-19
