The petitioner approached this Court by this PIL, seeking quashing of the Government resolution dated 22.6.2012 by which the implementation of the policy incorporated in the Govt. resolution dated 16.5.2012 was deferred. The policy was regarding the process for giving admissions in the Government hostels.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that the policy incorporated in the Govt. resolution dated 16.5.2012 is being implemented since 2013 and therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this PIL.

In view of the above, the PIL is disposed.
