Kashirao Dagduji Jawale v. The State Of Maharashtra And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO. 9744 OF 2016 Kashirao s/o Dagduji Jawale, R/o Shivalaya, Gajanan Nagar, Karegaon Road, Parbhani PETITIONER
VERSUS
The State of Maharashtra and others RESPONDENTS ---- Mr. J.M. Murkute, Advocate for the Petitioner Mr. S.B. Joshi, A.G.P. for respondent No. 1/State ---- CORAM :
T.V. NALAWADE AND SANGITRAO S. PATIL, JJ.
DATE : 13th FEBRUARY, 2017 ORAL JUDGMENT (PER : T.V. NALAWADE, J.) :
Rule, returnable forthwith. With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P., heard finally.
2.
None appeared for respondent Nos. 2 and 3, though duly served.
3.
Considering the nature of relief claimed in the petition, we hold that there is no need to adjourn the matter any further.
4.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he has filed representations before respondent Nos. 2 and 3, requesting them to make the payment of interest on the amount of General Provident Fund (G.P.F.) as the delay
wp9744-2016 is caused in making the payment of the G.P.F. to him. It is the contention of the petitioner that delay of two years is caused in making payment of G.P.F. His representations have not been decided till this date. 5.
We direct respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to decide the petitioner's representations submitted by him on 10th April, 2014 and 9th March, 2015 expeditiously and in any case within a period of four months from today. Rule is made absolute in those terms. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
6.
Authenticated copy of this order be supplied to both sides, at their request.
