The submission is that though the name of the petitioner is included in Sevarth Pranali, arrears of salary are not paid. The arrears of salary are pending since 07th April, 2014 to 06th April, 2017 as Shikshshan Sevak and as an Assistant Teacher from 07th April, 2017 to 29th February, 2020.

Affidavit is filed by the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Latur stating that funds are demanded from the respondent No. 2 for making the payment of outstanding amount. As soon as the funds are available the disbursement would be made of the arrears of salary.

It is not disputed that the petitioner is getting regular

2 WP 9698.21 salary from March 2021 onwards. The question is about payment of arrears for the period as narrated above. The demand is already made for the payment.

Considering that the arrears are not paid and the arrears are of an amount of more than Rs. Twelve Lacs as claimed by the petitioner, the respondent/State authorities shall endeavour to pay the arrears of salary to the petitioner as early as possible and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. 5.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
