Advocate for Petitioner : Mr. T.C. Sant h/f. Mr. Bhargav B. Kulkarni AGP for Respondent / State : Mr. A.S. Shinde Advocate for Respondent No.2 : Mr. S.P. Shah ....

CORAM : MANGESH S. PATIL & SANDEEP V. MARNE, JJ.

DATE : 04-08-2022 PER COURT :

1.

Heard.

2.

In both these petitions, the petitioners are seeking appointment on compassionate ground. It appears that the petitioners have submitted their applications (Exh."C") which are pending with respondent no.2 - Corporation. As yet, apparently, no decisions seem

to have been taken on their applications.

3.

We, therefore, deem it appropriate to direct respondent no.2 to consider the applications of the petitioners on its own merits and take appropriate decision.

4.

The Writ Petitions are allowed and disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 - Corporation to take the decision on the applications of the petitioners (Exh. "C") as early as possible and in any event within eight weeks.
