Having heard both sides, there is no need of interference with the direction to pay the scrutiny fees. If the petitioner pays the Scrutiny fees and 50% of the tax demand within a period of four weeks from today, the Appellate Authority on such proof being produced shall dispose of the pending appeal within a period of four weeks thereafter. If the demand is not complied with, needles to clarify that the appeal be stand dismissed without any adjudication on merits. 2.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
