The petition is filed for regularization of the services of the petitioners, who are working as Ayush Medical Officers and to claim regular appointment as Medical Officer Group B with all service benefits.
2) It appears that the petitioners are working on contractual, temporary basis. Learned
2 WP 7214 of 2016 counsel for the petitioner drew attention of this Court to the Government Resolution issued on 5-2-2013 by which a committee came to be constituted to consider the demands of the association of the petitioners. It is the grievance of the present petitioner that even after constitution of the committee no progress is made and no policy decision is taken by the State Government. The learned counsel also drew attention of this Court to the communication made by the Commissioner and Director of National Rural Health Commission. In that communication the Commissioner has informed to the State Government that it is up to the Government to take some policy decision. The matter is lying with Government at least since the year 2013. 3) As the Government has already taken some steps like constitution of committee to consider the representations given by the petitioner, the Committee is expected to expedite the things and the Government is expected to take
3 WP 7214 of 2016 whatever policy decision it wants to take. In those terms, with the direction to expedite the things and take decision by the State Government within nine months from today, the petition is disposed of.
