Heard learned Counsel for respective parties. The proposal tendered by the petitioners under Section 36A of The Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, for according permission to sell the lands as well as to exchange the lands, is pending consideration with the State Government since long and no decision thereon as yet has been taken.

In this view of the matter, this writ petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No.1 to take decision on the proposal of the petitioners under Section 36-A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code for according permission to sell the lands as well as to exchange the lands. as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from today. Order accordingly. The writ petition stands disposed of.
