This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to the District Rehabilitation Officer to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioner on 13.7.2012, wherein it has been contended that a separate house property which was allotted to him in partition has been acquired in 2004 for submergence under the Nimna Dudhana Project. The petitioner claims his entitlement on the basis of acquisition of the property in the year 2004 or some time thereafter.

The Collector may consider the application tendered by the petitioner in accordance with law and as per the policy prescribed by the State Government regarding extension of rehabilitation benefits to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four months and it is accordingly directed. Writ Petition stands disposed of.
