Mr. Mathpati, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Ghute, learned counsel for respondent nos. 8 and 9 and the learned A.G.P. are ad idem that the petitioners are similarly situated as the petitioners in Writ Petition No. 10628 of 2017 decided on 28.08.2017 and the order in the said petition would also cover the present matter. In view of that, we follow the same course.

The grievance of the petitioners is that they are entitled for benefit of one additional
2 wp 7362.18 increment as per policy dated 12.12.2000 of the State Government, but the respondent nos. 8 and 9 are not forwarding the proposal to the respondent nos.2 to 4 for grant of said additional increment to the petitioners.

We find that the petitioners have already submitted a representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad.

In the circumstances, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioners to submit a further detailed representation with supporting documents before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad. On receipt of such a representation, the said authority shall consider the same and shall forward its report / proposal to the competent authority i.e. respondent nos. 2 and 3.

On receipt of said report / proposal, the respondent nos.2 and 3 shall examine the same and shall take appropriate decision taking into consideration the aforesaid policy dated 12.12.2000 and in accordance with law, as also the observations made by Division Bench of this Court in the case of Suresh Raghoba Bhowate v. State of Maharashtra & others in Writ Petition No.6116/2014
3 wp 7362.18 alongwith connected petitions decided at Nagpur Bench on 16.12.2014 as also the order dated 29.6.2016 passed in the case of Dhanraj Shivaji Vani v. The State of Maharashtra & others in Writ Petition No.6382/2016 along with connected petitions decided at Bombay. 6.
Let the entire exercise, as aforesaid, be completed by the Chief Executive Officer as also respondent nos.2 and 3 within four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of. No costs.
