Heard learned counsel for parties. Perused the application. 2.

The present application is filed by the prosecution for condonation of (28) days delay caused in filing the application seeking leave to present the appeal against the judgment and order of acquittal of respondent - accused by the learned trial Court. 3.

The learned APP submits that the delay caused in preferring the application is not intentional or deliberate, but it was caused due to compliance of official process. He prayed to condone the delay. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for respondent-accused raised objection and submits that there are no reasonable grounds mentioned in the application for condonation of delay and prayed that delay may not be condoned.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B" and the same stands disposed of. Delay stands condoned. Registry to take requisite steps for further process. 6.
