This matter was heard for some time.

There are several disputed factors, inasmuch as, the Petitioner needs to prove that his father was working as Safai Kamgar on the basis of which compassionate appointment is sought in the light of the Laud-Page Committee recommendations (Vashila Paddhat). The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions that the Petitioner would raise an industrial dispute/approach the Industrial Court, for the redressal of his grievance, either under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 or the MRTU & PULP Act, 1971.

In view of the above statement, this Writ Petition is disposed off. This disposal would not be an impediment for the Petitioner to raise his grievance before the appropriate forum.
