The petitioner-management is anxious that in spite of favourable proposal having been forwarded by the respondent No. 2-University under Section 109 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 no further decision is being taken by the respondent No. 1. 3.

Without expressing anything on merits of the petitioner's entitlement, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No. 1 to take appropriate decision, in accordance with the law, on the recommendation received by it from the respondent No. 2-University, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four weeks from today.
