The petitioner impugns show cause notice dated 06.12.2023 issued by the Sub Divisional Officer, Kannad, Dist. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in terms of Section 48(7) and (8) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 as to why penalty of Rs.4,93,800/- shall not be imposed against him. 2.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that vehicle of the petitioner has been seized on 28.11.2023, which was having valid pass for transportation of minor minerals. Till this date, the vehicle is standstill. Although petitioner has replied to the show cause notice, further decision is not taken. 3.

Considering the submissions advanced, writ petition can be disposed of by directing Sub Divisional Officer to take decision in pursuance of the show cause notice, after considering the reply of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. 4.

The learned A.G.P. to communicate the order to the concerned Authorities.

Writ Petition is disposed of.
