Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner, the learned AGP and the learned Advocate Mr. Umesh Mote who appears for the respondent No.3.

The petitioner is seeking correction of the school record and consequently the passing certificate and mark memo issued by the respondent No.3 on the basis of the order and the instructions given by the respondent No.2 Education Officer (Secondary) by his communication dated 25/04/2023. The similar request has been put up with the respondent No.3 even by the respondent No.2 vide communication dated 30/05/2023, Exhibit 'E'.

The learned Advocate for the respondent No.3 on instructions submitted that no such proposal has been received by the respondent No.3.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.3, even if it has not received any proposal, to treat the document at page No.26 dated 25/04/2023 as a proposal and to take appropriate decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four weeks.
