PER COURT :- 1) By virtue of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 8th September, 2014, the matter is remitted to this court. In that view of the matter, Writ Petition No. 862 of 2012 (Chandramohan s/o Waman Nikam Vs. the State of Maharashtra and Ors.) is already restored to its original file.

2) The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw the petition so as to prosecute Writ Petition No.862/2012. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, we make it clear that withdrawal of this writ petition will have no bearing on merits of Writ Petition No. 862/2012.
