Present Application has been filed for condonation of delay of 1709 days in filing Criminal Appeal.

Though the learned APP is objecting; for the reasons mentioned in the Application as well as the fact that the applicant is in jail since the date of his arrest, the present Application stands allowed and disposed of.

Though the appellant in person has filed the appeal memo, we had granted liberty to the Advocate appointed to file a separate appeal. It was with a view that when an expert in the field is appointed, he should consider the grounds which may not be there in the appeal memo that has been preferred by the party in person. Learned Advocate appointed seeks accommodation of three weeks to prepare the appeal memo. Under such circumstance that liberty is granted. He may file separate appeal memo on or before 21st July 2023. Till then the Registry not register the appeal that has been filed by the party in person but then together with the appeal memo that may be filed by the learned Advocate appointed, it be registered thereafter.
