The petitioner has put forth prayer clause (B), which reads as under :- "B) To direct the respondent no.2 scheduled tribe certificate scrutiny committee, Aurangabad to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner which is pending since 25.04.2022 within stipulated period as this Hon'ble court deems fit by issuing the appropriate writ, orders or directions as the case may be."

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner desires to appear in an Entrance Examination, in order to pursue a professional course. His claim of belonging to the

(2) 'Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe' is pending and the Committee be directed to decide the same within two weeks. 3.

The learned A.G.P. submits that, the Committee is presently dealing with not less than 8000 expedited matters under the orders of the High Court. Though this is a rough estimate, exact figures are being collated and the A.G.P. would be able to state, as to how many such time bound matters are being dealt with, by the Committee. The vigilance cell enquiry in this case, is yet not complete. He, therefore, prays for time till April 2023, considering that the claim was put forth on 25/03/2022. 4.

In view of the above and taking into account the fact that the petitioner is a student, we would be granting a shorter period. 5.

This petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Committee, to complete the vigilance cell enquiry till 15/10/2022. Thereafter, the copy of the report be tendered to the petitioner, who would appear before the Committee on 15/11/2022 and submit his written submissions. The Committee shall endeavour to deliver a final order on or before 30/12/2022.

The Committee would consider that the biological uncle from the paternal side of the petitioner, namely, Shankar Sayanna Pupalwar, has been granted validity.
