We had passed an order on 10.07.2023, in Writ Petition No. 7436 of 2023. The claim for payment of rental compensation to the Petitioner, was to be decided within 90 days. Same has been decided by order dated 28.06.2024. The copy of the said order is marked as 'X-1' for identification.

The learned AGP informs us that though this Court had issued the direction in the order dated 10.07.2023, the same was directed towards Respondent No.3, in view of the contention of the Petitioner. However, the authority to actually decide the claim was Respondent No.4. This confusion led to the delay and finally when

934-cp-574-24 Respondent No. 3 directed Respondent No. 4 to take a decision, that Respondent No. 4 has passed the order at 'X-1'. 3.

In view of the above, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner graciously submits that this matter can rest here since he satisfied. He prays that the rental compensation may be paid urgently. We, therefore, direct the concerned authority, Respondent No. 4 herein, to disburse the amount to the Petitioner within 30 days. 4.

With the above direction, the Contempt Petition, in which notice is yet to be issued, is disposed off.
