Mr. Vaidya, learned counsel appears for respondent no.3.

The learned counsel submits that, within a period of 15 days, respondent no.3 would forward the proposal for correction of date of birth to the Education Officer.

The Education Officer shall consider the said proposal on its own merits and may entertain the proposal, if he comes to the conclusion that, it is a case of an obvious mistake. The said proposal shall be decided preferably within a period of (04) months from the date of receipt of the proposal.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
