Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the view that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by issuing an appropriate direction.

As per the Government Resolution dated 31.05.2017, compensation pertaining to land used for erecting towers and electric cables is to be determined in accordance with the scheme formulated under the said Government Resolution. The petitioner has approached the respondent-Collector on 27.04.2022, seeking such compensation.

The Respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's proposal/representation as per the Government Resolution dated 31.05.2017, as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, within six months from today.
