1] The grievance of the petitioner is that proceedings filed by the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act are not decided though they are pending since February, 2015. 2] Learned AGP submits that in case said proceedings are pending, same would be decided on its own merits.

3] Considering the above, we pass the following order :- [a] In case proceedings are filed by the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act and same are pending, then, respondent NO.2/appropriate authority shall decide the said proceedings (Exhibit B page

21) expeditiously, in accordance with law, on its own merit after hearing the concerned, preferably within 9 months.
