The petitioner, a student, has putforth prayer clauses "B" and "C" as under :- "B. By issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the nature of like writ, the respondent No.2 may please be directed to decide tribe claim of the petitioner pending before it within stipulated period of two weeks and issue necessary validity certificate of Scheduled Tribe claim of the petitioner.

Pending hearing and final disposal of this writ petition, the respondent No.2 may please be directed to decide tribe claim of the petitioner pending before it within stipulated period of two weeks and issue necessary validity certificate of Scheduled Tribe claim of the petitioner."

It is contended that the competent authority has closed the matter for orders on 23.04.2022.

The learned AGP submits, on instructions, that the constitution of the Committee has recently undergone a change. One member of the Committee has now been transferred and a new member has joined. He, therefore, rightly submits that a re-hearing will have to be conducted. 04.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with the following directions :- a) The petitioner shall appear before respondent No.2 - Committee on 25.07.2022 at 12=00 noon. The written notes of submissions can be filed.
