This petition can be disposed of by directing Respondents No.1 and 2 to take decision on the application tendered by petitioners under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today; and it is accordingly directed.

On determination of claim of the petitioners raised under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, if they are held entitled to receive enhanced amount of compensation, Respondent No.3 - acquiring body shall disburse the amount, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from such decision. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
