Mr. Shinde, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal for sanction of the second division to 11th standard for the year 2017 - 2018 is recommended by respondent no. 2 / The Director of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Pune and forwarded to the State Government on 30.06.2018 (Page No. 27), however no decision has been taken by the State Government on the same.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all the respondents and submits that if the same is pending with the State Government, the State Government would decide it on its own merits. 3.

In case the proposal is forwarded by the Director of Education to the State Government (Page No. 27), and the same is pending with the State Government, the State Government shall take decision upon it on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
