Heard learned Advocate appearing for the appellant/applicant. There is delay of 257 days in filing the criminal appeal. The applicant has been convicted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Vaijapur, Dist. Aurangabad in Sessions Case No.48/2019 on 01.08.2022. It appears that the applicant is in jail since 01.01.2019, almost from the date of his arrest. Under the said circumstance, the delay caused deserves to be condoned, for the reasons mentioned in the application.
