Heard learned advocate for the petitioners and learned advocates appearing for the respondents.

Although it is being contended that resolution is passed by majority of the members of the society, yet the same has not received approval of the registrar. Having regard to proviso to sub section (i) to section 35 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, challenge posed to turning down of request to reject nomination of respondents No. 5 to 9 does not appear to carry any substance at this stage.

Writ petition is, therefore, rejected.
