Heard. Primary evaluation of the FIR lodged by the prosecutrix suggests that the complainant was sexually assaulted by the applicant. Though the incident was reported after five days, in this proceeding I have no reason to disbelieve the prosecutrix. In consideration of the gravity of the accusation, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest protection to the applicant. The application is rejected.
