PER COURT:- 1.

We have heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The grievance is with regard to the Chief Minister Rural Water Supply Scheme to be implemented by respondents. The bone of contention is about the source from which the scheme is to be implemented.

Paragraph No.4 of the affidavit filed by respondent nos.4 and 5 reads thus:

"The deponent says and submits that, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Operational guideline published in December, 2019 by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India, per day per person

(2) 104-wp-7774-2019 required water supply is 55 Litres and accordingly as per the new norms, fresh proposal is required to be prepared, as such presently both the reports submitted by Geological survey and Development Authority are still under consideration and considering the suitability of water sources with future prospective, plan etc., the administrative decision will be taken. The writ petition is preferred with an apprehension, which does not survival in view of the new norms of 55 litres per day per person required water supply. In view of the new norms, the deponent will prepare proposal and take decision accordance with law as earlier as possible."

It is not for this Court to consider the feasibility of particular Scheme to be implemented in a particular manner. The experts are ones who would decide about the same. The committee is constituted.

The parties are at liberty to approach the appropriate authorities.

In view of the above, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
