We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for respondents.

The writ petitions are pending before this Court since June 2019. For the academic year 2018-2019 the petitioners had admitted the students, so also for the academic year 2019-2020 considering the intake capacity as 20 students. The petitioners have filed applications with the respondents. The contention of the petitioners is that the essentiality certificate was granted to the petitioners, even affiliation was granted by the Indian Nursing Council and the then Maharashtra Nursing Council.

Considering the above and the fact that the present petitions are pending since June 2019, the respondents shall take decision upon the applications of the petitioners irrespective of the fact that the applications are received late.
