DATE : 30th July, 2024 PER COURT:

1.

Apparently, our order dated 12/07/2023, passed in Writ Petition No.6478/2022, has been disobeyed for over a year. We are informed that Respondent No.5/Smt. Suman More, the then Tahsildar, Badnapur, who was to implement our order at the relevant time, is under suspension since she was trapped in an Anti-corruption Bureau case. The present Tahsildar, who has been added as Respondent No.6, instructed the learned A.G.P. to

625.24cp (2) state that the order of this Court would be implemented within a period of 30 days. An affidavit to that extent, dated 29/07/2024, is filed by the said Tahsildar Ms Ashwini Digambar Damare. An apology has also been tendered, though she has taken charge in February 2024.

2.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that this Petition may be disposed off in view of the above statement. 3.

In the light of the above, this Contempt Petition stands disposed off. Needless to state, we expect strict compliance in view of the statement recorded as above. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) sjk
