We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the petition as well as documents filed therewith. We find that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal before the Sub Divisional Officer under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, arising out of a revenue proceeding concerning mutation entries.

The petitioner is at liberty to pursue the said appeal and no case is made out for exercising writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his pending appeal before the Sub Divisional Shrikant Malani
