We have heard the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned AGP for the Respondents.

The petitioners and the learned AGP are ad idem that the petitioners are similarly situated as the petitioners of Writ Petition No.10752 of 2019 and connected writ petitions decided under judgment and order dated 29th August, 2019.

In light of that, we follow the same course.

For the reasons recorded in the said judgment, we direct the respondents to refund the excess amount deducted from the amount of gratuity. The said refund shall be made within a period of six months.

We have not directed refund of amount with interest as was directed in the earlier petitions on account of delay caused by the petitioners in approaching this Court.
