In view of the order passed by this Court on 27th June, 2017 in Writ Petition No.8200/2017 (Mangesh Namdev Pentewad vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) as well as the order dated 16th June, 2017 passed in Writ Petition No.7813/2017 (Chandrakant Gangadhar Yalpalwad vs. The State of Maharashtra and another), these Writ Petitions are also disposed of with the following directions:-

*2* 905-8493-2017+Group (a) The impugned orders passed by the Scrutiny Committee invalidating the tribe/caste claims of the Petitioners are set aside.

(b) We direct the competent Scrutiny Committee to scrutinize and verify the claims of the Petitioners as belonging to "MANNERVARLU" Scheduled Tribe (Entry 27) on merits and in accordance with law.

(c) The Scrutiny Committee should overlook the mistake and error in the spelling of the tribe/ caste in the certificates issued by the Sub Divisional Office.

(d) The Scrutiny Committee shall complete this assignment as expeditiously as possible.
