The petitioner who has appeared at the JEE(MAIN) 2024 examination, is awaiting decision by the respondent - Scrutiny Committee regarding validation of his tribe certificate of 'Koli Mahadev'. 2.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the proposal was submitted in the month of October 2023 and it is still under consideration. Considering the urgency, the petitioner is ready to adopt the reply filed by his cousins to the vigilance report conducted in their matters and a specific application to that effect was also submitted to the Committee on 05.06.2024.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that committee would decide the petitioner's proposal within eight weeks. 4.

Taking into account all the aforementioned circumstances and particularly the educational career of the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Committee to decide the petitioner's proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three weeks. The committee may consider the petitioner's request regarding his adopting the reply to the vigilance report conducted in the matter of Ganesh Shankar Turfewad and Vaishnavi Shankar Turfewad. 5.
