The Petitioners pray that the pending application u/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, filed on 20.01.2014, be decided by the District Collector, Aurangabad.

2.

The learned AGP submits that the District Collector will first have to verify whether such applications have been filed. If yes, he will assess as to whether these applications are pending. If the applications are filed and are still pending, the same would be decided within 12 (twelve) weeks from today.
