This Petition is filed seeking directions to release the petitioner for having undergone the sentence of 14 years without remission and for having attended 68 years of age as per Government Resolution dated 10th January, 2006.

The learned APP appearing for the Respondent /State tenders across the Bar the copy of the letter written to him by the Superintendent of Aurangabad Central Prison and

769.16WP submits that the Respondents have taken decision to release the petitioner subject to depositing the fine amount of Rs.550/-. The said letter is taken on record.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to deposit the fine amount immediately.

In the circumstances, the purpose of filing this Petition is served. Needless to observe that on depositing the fine amount by the petitioner, the Respondents shall immediately release the petitioner.

The Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
