The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to regularize his services as a teacher in Ashram School. It is brought to our notice that the Petitioner has moved a representation dated 11.07.2024 before Respondent No.2/Commissioner, Tribal Development Department. 2.

The learned AGP at the outset submits that such a prayer for regularization cannot be entertained as the documents filed with the writ petition itself show that the first appointment of the Petitioner on clock hour basis was dated 18.12.2017, thereby showing that the period of 10 years is not completed.

We dispose of the Writ Petition expressing no opinion on the merits of the claim of the Petitioner. At the same time the Respondent No.2/Commissioner, Tribal Development Department would be free to decide the representation submitted by the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law.
