PER COURT :- 1) Heard.

The petitioner is objecting to enlistment of names in the voters list prepared for conducting elections of Group Gram Panchayat, Pimpri Sekarm - Nimbhora (Bk.). An objection to that effect was tendered by the petitioner on 6th June, 2015 to the Returning Officer, which has been turned down by order dated 13th June, 2015.

2) Admittedly, the process of elections has already been set in motion and acceptance of the nominations is to commence w.e.f. 13th July, 2015. Apart from this the petitioner is not a person, who is likely to be affected by the change. The petitioner, based on apprehension that his future electoral/political prospects would be in danger, owing to change in the electoral rolls, has approached this Court. In exercise of extra-ordinary writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of Constitution of India, no interference is warranted. The writ petition is devoid of substance and the same stands rejected.
