For the same reasons, which are stated in the Judgment dated 24th November, 2015, while disposing of the Writ Petition No. 6977 of 2015 (Satyabhama Laxmikant Khose V/s The State of Maharashtra and others), we pass the following order :-

ORDER

A) The Petition is allowed.

B) The respondents shall condone the delay that has occurred in exercising the option by the petitioner and accordingly fix his pay in the promoted post with effect from the date of his next increment in the former post of Assistant Superintendent and extend him all consequential benefits.
