Heard. This is an application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for bail. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.150/2022, registered at Chalisgaon Police Station, District Jalgaon for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant is 76 years of age. From the allegations in the F.I.R., it appears that, he attempted to light a match stick so as to set the informant on fire. It is alleged that, the informant's son intervened and he prevented the applicant from lighting the match stick.

Considering the age of the applicant to be 76

years, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the applicant. Hence the order :

O R D E R

(i) The Bail Application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime No.150/2022, registered at Chalisgaon Police Station, District Jalgaon for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand) with one surety in the like amount.

(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
