Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the application U/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, is filed with the Collector Office, Osmanabad on 16.6.2015. The same is not yet decided.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that if the said application is

In light of the above, we pass the following order :

a) In case the application/petition filed by the petitioners U/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, is pending with the authority then the authority shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law after hearing all parties concerned expeditiously, preferably within nine (9) months.

b) The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
