PER COURT :

The petitioner is a 26 years old student, who desires to take admission to the three years LL.B. course. He completed 10th and 12th standards from the Yashwantrao Chavan Open University. He completed his graduation in the Arts faculty. He submitted his claim of belonging to the 'Koli Mahadev' scheduled tribe for validation on 13.6.2022 and this petition is filed on 8.7.2022 i.e. after 25 days of lodging the proposal.

In these set of facts, we cannot issue directions to the Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner out of turn, in the light of the contention of the learned AGP that, there are more than 8000 orders passed by the High Court, expediting the hearing of the pending proceedings within a time frame.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect

WP No. 7903/22 the Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner by treating him at par with similarly situated candidates.
